Donkey Kong
Lego Mosaic

Here’s some info on my Donkey Kong Lego mosaic. It’s On. Like Donkey Kong.

Source Image

I do cross stitchs on occasion and happened across this cute one for Donkey Kong. I thought it was neat and simple and decided to make a Lego mosaic of it. I didn’t bother making a pixelized image of this, I just put it straight into MLCad. It’s easy enough.

Importing to MLCad

I put this one into MLCad to get a part count. It’s a pretty cute little mosaic. I like him!

I built this pattern in November of 2008 and built the model in November of 2009 or so. He has 1,321 pieces or 4,416 studs. He is 1′-9.6″ (54.8 cm) wide and 1′-8″ (50.8 cm) tall.

Final Product

Not much to say. I think he was my second mosaic (after Prime). He, too, is more or less welded to the wall. Here’s a YouTube video showcasing this design.
